The view of our area of the beach on Sunday morning...notice we are the only ones on this section of beach. It was wonderful and we were able to relax and not worry about the kids getting lost in the crowd. The water was ICE cold, but we waded, built things in the sand, relaxed, snacked, collected lots of shells and enjoyed the heat and humidity!
Our boys have not been to the ocean since they were 1 and 3 so this was basically like them experiencing it for the first time. Brock made the comment that "it sure isn't quiet at the ocean"! The sound of the waves crashing, seagulls diving and kids playing was wonderful! Phil and Steve took the boys out for some wave hopping and they had a blast.
Here we are...we are really here! :) Having a great time and soaking up the sun.

Here is the pool at our beach house. The boys played in it for hours yesterday without even getting out for a break or snack. They are loving being with their cousins and swimming their hearts out. We were all exhausted after our first full day here and slept great....Here we go for day number 2! Oh...Kiara would rather run around the pool and get splashed by PawPaw than to actually get in it. But she is having a blast too! That's all for now. God has really blessed us with this wonderful trip. We may never do one like this again, so we plan to enjoy it to the fullest. can i say that i'm jealous? :) it looks very nice there and the family time sounds great! enjoy and i can't wait to see more pictures!
