Bowling fun

A few weeks back, our church had a children's/family bowling time at our local lanes. The boys and Phil bowled, and I held Kiara, blew bubbles, and chatted with everyone! I'm impressed at how well the kids bowl. They did have the bumpers up so that there was no chance at a gutter ball, but they really did well keeping it in the middle. They decided they like Wii bowling better, because they are really good at it and they don't have to hold a heavy ball! HA!

MAGIC SHOW

Awhile back, the boys decided to put on a magic show for Kiara. It started because Kiara has a little magic wand/hat/rabbit/flowers, etc...It was Grant's idea so he was the boss of the show. They were too funny trying to practice. We were not allowed in Kiara's room, as they were preparing for their show in her closet. Finally we were called in to watch the show...after several failed attempts, arguing of who was supposed to do what, props mal-functioning...we were finally able to see quite a "show". They were too funny and so sweet to want to do the show for Kiara, but they do say that she needs a bigger closet! HA!

Grant's Artwork

A couple of weeks ago, the kids' elementary school had an artshow in an art gallery in downtown. The art teachers selected pieces that would be featured in the show. Grant's artwork was on display. We were so proud of him and when we saw it we were pretty amazed at how cool it was. They had a cookies and punch reception and it was open to the community to view the display. We went and looked at all of them and of course got some pictures. He was so proud of himself. Big brother didn't like it so much that little brother got in the show and he didn't, but actually was very supportive and told him how great it was. Hooray! :)

Sweet picture

I just had to put this picture up...it may be my new favorite of the kids...they were hanging out on my bed in their jammies while I was getting ready for school one morning and I thought it was simply adorable and had to capture it. My kiddos are growing up too fast!
