So, as Brock was mowing a couple of weeks ago, he found a wet spot in the yard and it hadn't rained recently (plus it was on a hill). UGH! The city came out and kindly told us it was "our" problem, as it wasn't from their water main, but from our pipes leading from the main to our house. UGH again! Luckily we know some great guys who have an excavating business! (Thanks Stones :)) They were out to fix it a few days later. The boys were entertained for the entire time they were here. Since we knew the guys doing it, they were up closer than I normally would have let them get. They were completely in awe of the whole process and curious as to how it all worked. Even Kiara stood at the door for much of the morning watching and "talking" to the machines! It was quite exciting at our house. Now our yard is a ripped up mess, but oh well....all in time it will look better. It's always something happening when you own a home! We don't have the bill yet...maybe they'll forget???? HA! Just kidding...we do want them to paid for their work...we just wish we weren't the ones who had to pay!
