Brock's baptism

The big day was finally here! Brock has wanted to be baptized for well over a year. As soon as he heard that our annual baptism service was happening, he asked if I would talk to the pastor. He accepted Christ into his life about 2 years ago...we asked why he wanted to be baptized and he told us that he had Jesus in his heart and he wanted to show others that he did! The above picture is of the small group he was baptized with. There were 20 people (children and adults) baptized and his was the first group. This picture is when the pastor is telling about each person and asking them for their salvation story or why they want to be baptized.

Time to be "dunked"!!!!

Look at that smile on his face...and the whooping and clapping from the congregation was fun too!
Thank you Jesus for saving our son, and for giving him the desire to want to tell the world that he loves You!

Here he is all baptized and soaked...in fact, we were all soaked quickly after this picture was taken as it downpoured...but the baptism continued and it was a wonderful service...I'm so glad to be part of our church and our church family. Thanks to all of those (especially in the station and community group) who have influenced him. Happy day for a parent!
